Need Wooden handles measurements for Griswold No.8 Waffle iron

I have a Griswold New American No.8waffle iron. The wooden handles are not even close to being the originals. I would like to make a set that matches the original black wooden handles. I have not been able to find the measurements on any searches. If anybody has the measurements could you please post them. I mainly need the length and diameter.

Just curious - did you ever find the specs for the handles?  I have a New American #8 and the wood handles are missing.

Why not reach out to someone on ebay with your set and ask them to measure? The ones I've seen look fairly straight forward--not much taper, diameter between 5/8 and 1", etc.
