Here is part of a 1951 hardware store ad. It has the same two pieces. While the price is a little lower for the lamb, the dimensions are the same. The full page of this ad is labeled "Griswold Cast Iron Cooking Utensils." I don't have a Griswold lamb to measure, so I don't know if these ads round up or down, or if, through time, there were different sizes of lambs produced.There is also a 1959 Griswold Price list floating around here somewhere that I posted. The price for the 866 lamb at that time was $4.95.
