Thank you guys for the pictures and suggestions.  All were very helpful.  Now I have a little better idea of how all this is supposed to look and work.  I definitly think it is a good idea to insulate the barrel with something.  It wouldn't even be a bad idea to have a rubber mat set in front of the barrel to stand on when working with the cookerators.  You certainly don't want to become the path to ground.

Just wondering........what is the latest update on the barrel count???  All gone yet???

The things you talk about, the mat, the barrel, are good ideas and won't cost hardly anything. I am sending out a load of them tomorrow and I want everyone to set up their outfits right away and brag about them on this forum, which will better enable me to gouge others with the ones I have left.

Down to seven and I'm keep some extras for myself.

Will, I'm just guessin, and its a good guess, but the barrel is 65.00, and the shipping to your place, I'd say will be right at 32, 33, 34, 35, dollars.

Will, a smart a boy as you are you can probably do it on the computer. Go to FEDEX, the barrel is 35" high and is 23" in diameter and weighs right at 43 lbs.

Let me tell me how stupid people are. I was checking on shipping and for some reason all I could think about was UPS, UPS, UPS, I had UPS on the brain, I was on the phone with them for three days, until Greg Stahl helped me out and told me FEDEX.

Anyway, I'm talking to this woman at UPS. She says how tall is the barrel. I says its 35" high and gave her the 23" part, she says the height of it puts in a penalty class, it'll cost you 128.00 and some change. I'm thinkin, man there ain't no way these people are gonna pay this for a dam barrel for shipping plus the price of the barrel. So I says, you mean cause its so tall, thats why you are charging me so much, and she says yes.

So I hung up and called back and got a different lady and said I had this barrel and it was 23" high and 35" long. She figured that up and it was 30 something dollars. So I said well that will be alright. Then I contacted Greg and he said FEDEX. TRUE STORY
