« on: September 20, 2014, 05:13:59 PM »
Yippee, skippy!!!!  I finally, finally, got some new stainless which has been sitting down in North Carolina for 9 months!!

A big THANKS to Trevor, for grabbing it for John A and I, a super big thanks for John A for trekking it to Raleigh so the other half could bring it home yesterday!!!
(Think 4 door sedan, with 2 back seat passengers...  ;D ;D)

The Week end project.... designing and building electros!! 8-) 8-)

Am heading out to drag out my stack of 12 gauge plates, hoping one will fit on the bottom...  :P

And sooo many decisions....

Which to use???

The Brute with attached dolly .... my first choice...
or the new 55 gal. straight side barrel that has been feeling lonely...

May have to build one of each... :) :)

good ideas cheryl.
Ignorance can be taught, STUPID is permanent. I speak 3 languages, english, sarcasm, and profanity, and I am very fluent in at least 2 of them.

Update.... constructed, ready to fill for a test run...

Will make modifications as needed....

Drilled thru sidewall to make use of the welded 1/2" nuts already in place, with SS washers and hex nuts in place against anode to enhance conduction... and an exterior SS washer and hex nut and hose washer to hopefully 'seal' the deal.  All threaded thru with a 6" SS cap bolt....

You see, my stainless steel fetish is still alive and well!   ;D ;D

Will probably not fill 'er up until Tuesday.....
(off to the island tomorrow... again...sigh)

If I don't like the current flow, I already have a Plan B to implement.
Am also debating running the negative 1/2" SS allthread thru the sidewalls of the Brute... the mini bungees may be temporary...

Could use 2 eye bolts in place of the bungees. BUT...there may be some pieces that will have to be offset of center a bit to sit right :-/

Some modifications made... shorter cap bolt for (+) clamp... downsized to 4".... decided to run 1/2" SS allthread through side walls... (now I can snap the lid on to keep out the creepy crawleys...), and shortened the (-) SS allthread by lopping off 8 ".  Filled and ready to test.... soon, I hope...
