Greg, it looks like a deep skillet, or is it just the angle in the picture? Either way you did great, and it its a deep skillet you did great great. Ain't it great? ;D

Yep its a deep one. I just measued it to be 3 1/2" deep - 10 3/4" rim to rim, and 8 1/2" on the bottom.

Anyone vote that it's a Favorite?  I'm going by the underside of the opposite assist handle.

I thought Favorite when I see the style of heat rim. I did have some Favs with that style HR. Don't know if there still around or not. I'd have to dig around.

Ed, I'm with you. Heat rim looks the same as some of the Favorite Piqua Ware skillets.

  Hello Everyone,
Iam new to the group and I will admit I love collecting skillets. My name is kitty... I have quite a few wagners but what Iam interested in and haven't been able to find it what skillets are worth. Is there such a thing? listing? My mother has a Griswold that is gigantic, biggest skillet I have ever seen.It was giving to my mother before my aunt died a couple of years back. My aunt said she got it right after she got married. My mother is curious to know how much it is worth but of course she would never part with it. Believe me I have tried already ;D Well Everyone have a good day,be safe

Kitty, welcome to Wags.  :) Tell us what kind of griswold you have and we can give you an approximate value. We need to know the size to start with and then describe the markings. Somewhere on the forum there is a list including all the pictures of the different griswold emblems. We have two parts to our forum, what we call the general side which we are on here now, and the other side is for dues paying members. The dues are trivial I might add considering the worth of information made available on the other side. We keep updating the information as it is developed and make it available to the members on here. Again, welcome, and tell us about the big griswold skillet and we'll be happy to help you out with it.
