I wanted it, BUT!!!!

For obvious reasons, I wanted this one. They may be family, but that price. WOW. I'm thinkin' another member may have gotten this one. There is nothing on the foundry page for it either.

Actually, there is a link on the foundry page for Grander Rogers Co (with good pictures even).  I can't link it here since it goes to the dark side, but it's there.

Chuck, I am very surprised that you would ask such a silly question. :o

Its a "woman thing". They can find anything, you can look for it for an hour, ask them, they can find it in 30 seconds, or less.  ;D


And Jesse, thanks for that picture. That sure is a nice piece of iron. Did you clean it and make it look that purdy, or did you buy it that way?  :)

was bad when I bought it but......  I have bought many a #0 562 that way for 10-20 bucks on ebay. Just cause they look bad scares others off. I showed you that one painted white that was perfect when I cleaned her up.....

Chuck, I understand the desire because of the name...

But, this is a common WI! Produced with several different names. I've got the SAME WI named  Francis Buckwalter & Co, Royersford, PA. I seem to recall seeing it with other names as well. I just can't recall, at the moment, what those names were.

So, ya gotta wonder... who was REALLY making this waffle irons! I'm thinking a foundry in PA but, that leaves plenty of options! LOL

I just realized that the one in the Ebay listing is also marked Royersford, PA.

All of those towns are not far from me here in PA. That would have been an added bonus being local and all. As many places as I have been for iron around here, I have yet to see one like it. That just gives me anoth piece to hunt down  :)

Chuck, these waffle irons show up on Ebay fairly regularly and sell rather cheap!

I'll keep my eyes peeled, I run across them locally as well.

Hello Mike. Waffles in the toaster huh, party pooper.  ;D ;D

And how do you turn them paddles, WELL, don't use your fingers.  ;)

Actually you can use about anything really, to push it down, and then drag it full circle, a spoon, fork, knife, stove lifter, anything handy.  :)
