Hello Stuart. IMO I think a nice number 14 Wagner without any issues is easily worth two hundred dollars.

A little over a year ago I dropped bidding at $215... the winning bidder was $225.

That one was on site at an auction, excellent condition, hands on...

Wow! who said CI prices were "down"... I don't think that I paid much over $100 (a few yrs back), maybe I can find another deal at the local estate sales ;)
I don't see the big ones often, but I'll be lookin'...

Stuart it looks like you'd be better to find one of them number three Griswold Oval Roasters like I posted. I would say that price is a record high for that piece.

If I spot any oval roaster at a good price, I'll grab it (even though nobody wanted my oval Wagner at our Convention).
99 times out of 100 folks around here spell it Grisgold... but I might get lucky ;)

Stuart all Oval Roaster are not created equal. Some of the Wagner ones are pricey, depending on which one it is. But nowhere near what this little number 3 griswold brought. I said it somewhere I think, that the same seller had a number nine Gris Oval Roaster and it brought OVER two thousand dollars.
