Must have caught the eye of an unsuspecting bird dog party. Thru life I gave good prices for Beagle items when found. Bought a few of these Lodge skillets for $5-10. Same with the duck and the fish pattern.

The dog is the toughest one to find. That price has been high for several years now.

Russell is right, I was outbid on the bird dog skillets several times, each time they went for well over $200.00.  It is one of those "rare" cast iron items which truly qualified for "rare" status.

Yes, this is all good information. Marge Knowles is our resident expert on these skillets. Hit her up if you all want to know anything about this series of Lodge skillets.

MARGE, the next time I meet up with you and take you to lunch, DARRELL'sass stays home.  (thats her old man) :o
