#3 grooved handle Medium???? logo
« on: October 27, 2003, 08:07:57 PM »
I was going through my stuff and found a #3 that I never noticed before. It has a grooved handle with a  2 1/2 inch block logo. We've talked about this medium logo before but I've never given it a second look. I didn't realise they came on a grooved handle skillet. The skillet also has ERIE PA on it.

That TM was also used on the square skillets 21xx series, the chef's skillets with bakelite handles, many porcelainized casseroles, and probably other pieces.  The No.3 is the only regular skillet it was used on and my thoughts are that Griswold may have intended to switch all round skillets to that TM but got bought before they could do it.  I'm pretty sure that it is the latest Griswold TM used.  I'll have a No.3 square skillet at the convention with the same TM.

Yeah it is the same as the one on the square skillets but I was commenting on the grooved handle medium logo combination. It's the same type handle as those square skillets. Just didn't realise they made a skillet that way. I thought all grooved handle regular skillets had the small logo. Learn something everyday.
