Perfection Toy Stove
« on: November 06, 2005, 09:04:26 PM »
Does anyone have an idea of the value of a Perfection Toy Stove like the one shown on page 216 of the red cover book?  Its just marked Rare in the book.

Jerry, I have no idea as to the value of the stove. Would you happen to have one and if so can you post a pic? They are kinda neat.  ;D

I wonder if the toy stove people have a forum you could check in on.  They would be the people to contact for info.  Didn't Schiffer publish a Toy Stove book?  Prices and info should be in there.

The Schiffer toy stove book has four different styles of Perfection stoves. The one that matches the one in the  red book is missing the stove pipe and back piece, value $250-350. The one in the red book is missing the stove pipe, but has the back piece. I think one complete would bring would bring 450+ easy. I ran one up to $600 at auction a couple years ago. It wasn't a Perfection but it was complete and in great shape and had  mini cookware. Don't remember the name though. Some real nice ones come up on ebay ever so often.

I was curious about the price when the book says RARE.   I've been seeing one in the same shop for a long time.  It appears to be nickle plated.  It in good condition but missing the burner covers I think?
