Skillet Lid ID?

No markings at all. I'm lookin for the experts on this one. Or at least anyone who knows.  ;D ;D The inside is as smooth as a babies bottom, so I'm suspecting it's at least a quality piece. The outside is real nice. Not as smooth, but still quality

Fit's a #8 Wagner Chicken Fryer very well. Don't think it's a Wagner piece though

I've got the same double top, posted on the forum a year or two ago. It was ID'd as a Vollrath then also. Been looking for a Vollrath bottom without pour lips/spouts ever since.  Anyone ever see a Vollrath deep skillet/chicken fryer without the lips/spouts that this top might fit on?  Mike

That's just great...Now I have to search for another nearly impossible to find piece.  ;) ;D ;D If Mike can't find it, I'm in for a long search. I do like the thrill of the hunt though. Thanks Ed. I owe ya one.

Chuck, they're probably out there somewhere.  I just don't find many Vollrath of any kind in my area.  If you come across an extra one I'd be interested in it.  Mike

I have one of these tops also. Have found it to fit a couple different skillets/pots. As Mike said, Vollrath double skillet shows pour lips, we all see this has none, and no Mike I have not seen one without pour lips. Not 100% it's Vollrath, the handle sure looks it.

  Chuck which WW deep skillet 1088 no pour lips?

You got it, no pour lips. Of course this WW is a spinner. It came with other pieces that I wanted. I knew it was warped, but I wanted the others that were auctioned with it, so now I have it. I already have a good ww deep fryer with a lid. It sits ok on the electric stove. Guess I could use it for something after all.
