What is it??
« on: February 09, 2010, 09:00:46 PM »
Well I know what it is so I kinda buffaloed you because I have a lot of who done its on here!

This is a sad iron heater that came with 3 Mrs. Potts sad irons that I see a ton of around here (that photo will be coming soon!).

I know that the foundry in Dubuque, Iowa made a lot of Mrs. Potts sad iron trivets so it would only make sense that they made irons as well.  I see a ton of the Dubuque trivets around here so I might be inclined to believe this was a piece made by them??  Only markings are PAT. APL'D FOR and the number 11. or 77.??

The Potts sad irons are shown in RB Lodge section... Don't think they were the only ones to produce them tho.. Theres a thread where we just talked about these not long ago..
