Hello Clark, NICE FIND. Something else for me to steal from you.  ;D

I have never seen one of those out in the real world. And yes, we know that SD-I means "South Dakota Highway One".  ::)

Well Clark, I thought it stood for" Some Dirty Iron". I do not know what you are talking about.

You do find all the good stuff. All I found was this silly thing. Priced right at  Will P. cost. I got it to throw any spare change in, and there ain't much to spare. To my surprise it's in the RB p. 103.

Hello Ed, I have never seen nor heard of that piece till I looked in the book. If you fill that up with change, don't holler for me to carry it. I thought you were talking about some little small thing, you know, like you might sit in your car, you'll have to have a station wagon if you use this to hold change in your car.  ;D

You say a Will Person price huh, I would have bought it for that too. At that price Ed, you can probably make money on it by scrapping it.  ;D

Unless they made more than one size the dimensions in the RB must be a typo. This one is 7-3/4" by 11-5/8", not 17-3/4" by 11-5/8" as shown in RB. It's more like a candy dish or plate to eat on, than a platter. It's 5/8" deep..

Ed that was a better find than mine. Mine was some dirty iron (SD-I), but it looks better now.
