Well, this is a first for me - my first Chef Skillet! I was cruising through a local antiques co-op and spotted this lovely pan marked at $12. The shop was having a store-wide sale (serenaded by a live old-time band complete with fiddle and washtub bass). Given that level of inspiration and 20% off, I had to bring it home.
From what I gather, this is an unsigned Wagner 9 inch Chef Skillet. It needs a good cleaning, but should be perfect afterwards. I like the thumb pad on the handle, but did notice that it's set a bit to the left. :-?
Remarkably, this was the cheapest CI in the store. Even the small logo Griswold #8 was priced at $50. Then again, I bought a really nice third series Erie here for pretty cheap too...
