MY FIRST ???????????
« on: December 07, 2013, 05:55:24 PM »
Hello all I bet the title caught your attention pretty quick. But this time it refers to my first gem pan and first time I ever tried seasoning. It don't look pretty but it reminds me of what not to do when seasoning.

Nice var.3 Albert. Almost looks like you tried a second coat and it didn't wipe as dry as you wanted it to.  I've given up trying to do multiple seasonings in the same session because I either end up with pooling or spatter spots more than I like.
The good chefs never burn anything--we call it "culinary brown"!!

Right after this I studied the way Chuck R. did his and never again did I have this problem that was done close to 5 or 6 years ago and I left it that way for a reminder.  :D
