Recent flea market find

I'm at a point in life where I know that I shouldn't take on more projects but I just couldn't resist this one.  I found the paddles for a Favorite Piqua #8 waffle iron on one of my recent excursions.  The dealer didn't have the base but I went ahead and bought it because I really like Favorite Piqua and I thought the "crossover" handle design is cool.

I'm a bit fickle so I want to make certain that I find the exact particular base that fits and was meant for this WI.  Does anyone know which exact base is meant for this one (so I know what to ask for) and does anyone have any suggestions where I might find it?  Any help is sincerely appreciated!

Here is the base you are looking for.  Note that it has two recesses for the hinge on the side opposite the handle.

Thanks, Jeff.  The offset handle on the base is kind of a cool complement to the crossover handles.

Any idea of how to find one?

Andy, you may want to try posting on our ITEMS Wanted Board, and reference this thread with the picture of the base. Sometimes other members may have an extra laying around....  :)
