What to do with this pot?

I bought a little two quart sauce pot at a roadside antique store for 10 bucks, I only bought it becuase it's the only one I have seen without "made in Taiwan" on it. It has a tight fitting lid and the only marks are 2qt on the long handle. It has a fire ring on it as well. What do you make in this little pot?? Can you boil pasta in it?? I've used it to warm up soup and it works very well. I was just worried about boiling away the seasononing

I probably would not want to boil water in it repeatedly, but it should be good for small batches of soup or chile, popcorn for one, once it gets well seasoned you can do tomato based pasta sauces. It would also work for reheating leftovers. As for origin, someone with more experience will have to chime in. I haven't seen to many of these around to be able to tell

I have it's brother, along with a three and four quart pan, and somewhere on this forum, many moons ago, I think they were identified as Lodge.   I'm sure that one of the Forum gurus will chime in with a correct identity for said pot, but that's my two cent's worth.

What do you use yours for?? I thought early lodges had the fire ring with 3 indentions

Aaron, I use it for warming up BBQ sauce, chili, canned veggies.  Small portions, of course.  I have DO's and larger pots that I usually end up transferring my sauce and chili to, cause they tend to outgrow the smaller pot all too often.

Here is just one sample/idea for you, the MACA CO has a sprile ham, the Martin Spider has biskets, and the Stew Pot has the corn.

Wow those are some nice looking spiders, thanks for all the help guys. I've seen two of those larger pots with legs but they didn't have the fire ring on the lid
