  • WAGS: Heartbeat of Cast Iron Cookware Collecting
Cast-Rite wear
« on: February 18, 2014, 06:05:47 PM »
I saw an aluminum skillet today that said "Cast-Rite" "Wear" on the bottom.  Is that something worth collecting?  I don't have any pure aluminum skillets yet, but I don't want to have a "normal" or "average" one.

The big collector items would be aluminum by Griswold and Wagner. Magnalite are very nice pretty items by Wagner. Another quality set that seems to be going up is Commercial Cookware. Anodized Aluminum, very thick, cooks very well. More value as a user, than a pretty design like Magnalite. Our chef at works loves it, and says it is the best. Haven't heard of Cast-Rite, if you know one you might check with a commercial chef and see what her/she thinks.
