Can't tell you anything about the pot but the design on the bottom is a US Indian Head Cent minted from 1859-1909, Nice looking piece, Is the bottom milled  or plated to produce the bright silver appearance.

Ed, reach down into your 'go back machine' and see what else you can find that will make us want it.
