I needed a user #9 waffle iron. I found this Fanner/Crescent for the right price. It was missing its original wooden handles, but didn't look too bad otherwise.

Here it is cleaned and seasoned. It turns out that 5/8" hardwood doweling makes real nice handles. This iron will make an 8" diameter waffle.
