Wow Mitch, That's an awesome set! :o

I don't know who made it but it looks older judging from the style of handle and raised number on the lid (IMHO)...

There's a few who 'specialize' in hammer finished iron lurking around here, but they may be busy for the holiday...

Looks like Favorite / CHF. I've been trying to figure out who made that lid with that basting pattern for a while. First time I've seen something that links it to one of these two manufacturers.

I've never seen a hammered lid with raised number on it. If I had seen one I'd have a pic of it or own it. Does the hammering on the skillet match the lid? Hard to tell from angle of pic. I don't think its a CHF piece. Uncommon piece for sure IMO. That's a great find Mitch, thanks for sharing.

Yes Ed. They do match. I can get some better photos today if you would like.

Mitch, I think this set is really uncommon. I've seen the lid a time or two but I don't think they were a # 10 and didn't know what bottom matched it.

More pix would be great. Curious to see the side of skillet to see if there is any uniformity to the hammering. I've seen those type of basting spikes on covers, but still unable to ID the manufacturer.

Here is a close up of the side. The hammering is very uniform and even on both.

I have seen that pattern before still I can't ID it.
Have this DO and I have no idea who made it.
Someone told me awhile back theres a FB group dedicated to hammered cookware? Maybe they have come up with some documentation. I'm not into FB ,maybe I should be. :-?
