Another Wagner Waffle Iron.......
« on: June 04, 2017, 02:06:22 AM »

I have really fallen behind in posting all my wonderful 'new' old pieces, so I will have to try to get it in gear!

This recent acquisition -  Wagner Aluminum Waffle Iron!

Quite the challenge, as are many aluminum pieces, which seem to be moving into my living room at an accelerated rate!!

Wow, nice job Cheryl (as usual). The piece looks to be in perfect condition. Congratulations.

Hooooooooly moly!!! Amazing restoration! I humbly bow in your general direction.

How did you clean the aluminum?

Spurgeon, Cheryl is amazing at cleaning and restoration.  It probably does not matter whether cast iron or aluminum, skillet or waffle iron, griddle or bundt pan.  She is kind of the Felix Unger of cast iron and aluminum restoration.

Thank you kind sirs!

I have spent sooo much time here on the WAGS Forum, learning and perfecting my craft! thanks to all the wonderful experts here, I have learned it well.  (and I am picky, picky... <secret code for OCD, OCD.... :D>)

It was the 'restoration' that hooked me, apparently, forever. :P :P

It took me over one hour to remove those danged Alaska Coil handles from the WI above... kinda closer to Two Hours, they were particularly stubborn and were even resisting the Kroil!!
