WAGS magazine article
« on: March 06, 2009, 12:32:08 PM »
In the March issue of "Antiques & Collecting Magazine there is an article on collecting castiron. WAGS & G&CICA are discussed as the premier collecting organizations. It is an interesting article by Wendy Komancheck, an independent writer.

Here is a link I found from that magazine site with several articles about cast iron.  I havent read any of them but some might be interesting.

Well I for one would like to see what they said about us. If anybody, somebody, can find it and post it here, I know I'd read it and appreciate it.  :)

I was going to try their free trial, but it's an "auto renewing" one (I read the T&C's!) - you can't run away from those fast enough.

Maybe the library will have a back copy.

I checked the website, but the March issue is not available as a back issue yet. Then it costs $5. However, I have two copies of the magazine that Wendy Komancheck sent me. Is there a way to scan the article onto the website? I will also bring the magazine to the convention.

You can go to your local book store and read the article from the rack. The last issue of "the antique trader" has an ad to join GCICA. Maybe interest is starting to boom for cast iron.
