Hello from South Dakota
« on: October 05, 2021, 04:23:40 PM »
Just starting my cast iron collection. Picked up several pieces at the local 2nd hand stores. Wagner Ware 10" round griddle. New Lodge deep frying pan and a Griswold 8" frying pan. Also found some smaller unmarked pans, a Stan Sport deep pan and what I think are a pair of Birmingham corn bread  pans. I'll share some pics once I get them.
I'm looking forward to learning about and expanding my collection.

Welcome Chris! My Wagner round griddle is ever present on my stove.  Great for grilled cheese and pancakes.
The good chefs never burn anything--we call it "culinary brown"!!

Welcome from armpit Wisconsin. Well....almost. Not as pretty as South Dakota. What a beautiful state you live in. Ask away and enjoy it here.

Welcome!  Griswold 9/609 round griddle is the piece we use the most by far.

Hello! I’m also new and from South Dakota. Custer to be precise.  I hope we both learn lots. I’m more of a user than a collector, but I like to know what I’m looking at when I pick up a piece of iron.
