Hi Edward !

These are uncommon items for sure!

This one appears to be missing the wooden cone maker.

I would be tempted at the price shown.... given the crazy market prices today!

(IF condition warrants....)  Unrestored items are always a risk......... as condition is critical.

Last Blue Book valued the complete item with wooden cone  utensil in the 350 to 450 range.

Thanks for the info. It will restore to perfect condition. Someone recently paid 2700 for one. I don’t know if it had the wooden cone.

Being a novice, can someone explain to me how that pizzelle maker is used to make ice cream cones? I can envision a flexible pizzelle being wrapped around a wooden cone form???

Paul White, yes. (Hence my comment above regarding the Missing Wooden Cone Maker.... Envision an Applesauce Colander with a Wooden pestle... but with a tapered wooden pestle that is pointy on the the bottom end.) If you have a copy of the Blue Book, page 255  it shows an Ad for the EZ Ice Cream Cone Baker AND the Icy Cone Baker which is a slightly different design.  Both are circa 1920.  Hope that helps!

Wow.....you saw one sell for $2700!?!?  Well,  if you are wondering value,  looks like you already have a pretty good idea.  Not an easy piece to find.

Ohhhh....just to let you know,  it probably is on the wrong base.  The base should not have a drip ring around the outside.  But most of those crack and get replaced.
