Brass brush
« on: December 14, 2013, 10:37:36 PM »
After cleaning and scrubbing one of my skillets today, I noticed a golden tint on the outside after it dried. I looked at it with a 15 power eyepiece, and it appeared to have brass pieces in the texture of the cast. What is the best way to remove it?

as far as I know only electro or a self  cleaning oven will remove that

It was in the electro for 24 hours. I noticed it after scrubbing with the SS scrubbie. I went over the entire pan with a small SS welding brush, that seems to have gotten 95% of it.
