Dawn Power Dissolver-What A Shame!!

I bought an aluminum Dura-Ware bread stick pan last weekend at the flea. I have been using some aluminum ware lately and like the way it has no clean up after use.
It had some burnt grease on it and I tried all week to get it off. Told my wife that I wish I had some DPD as it was no longer made. She went to the kitchen and came back with a FULL bottle of DPD! Said it had been there a couple of years in the back of the cabinet out of sight.
SPARINGLY, I sprayed the pan and left it about 6 hours. Using a toothbrush, I cleaned the then SOFT burnt grease off and now own a pan ready to use [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

What a shame that P&G took this great cleaner off the market! :'(

3 1/2 years ago, when I learned about DPD here on the Forum, there was none to be found.  Everyone said it was no longer produced.   

Then about 6 months later, I began to find it, first one store, then another.

I am not convinced that it is gone forever,,,, guess we'll see if more production runs occur sometime in the future.......

Duke, the bottles on Amazon are much larger.

32 ounces, versus the 12 ounces bottles I was buying for the past 3 years or so.

Actually came out .70 cheaper per 12 oz quantity... based on my calculations.

Since we are discussing this, I just ordered a case, before they are all gone....  ;D

Free shipping... but make sure you manually check the free shipping option, otherwise they nail you for the shipping charges... Amazon is getting downright fraudulent at times...........
