#20 Dutch Oven
« on: July 19, 2003, 10:36:15 AM »
Has anyone ever seen a #20 dutch oven?   A regular looking oven with smooth bottom and no legs?

Bet the #20 stands for 20 quarts, pints, etc and is not a #20 is relationship to the DO's marked by Griswold

I have seen a picture of a Wagner Ware commercial dutch oven in the and it was huge. I don't know if it was size marked but it dwarfs a Griswold 13.

Well, my curiosity got the best of me so I went to see the oven.  It turned out to be interesting but a false alarm.  It was a 20 qt. not a #20 but still huge.  Would take 3 grown men and a troup of boyscouts to pick it up.  A regular dutch oven with no legs, smooth bottom, bail handle, but  new made Texsport name!.....OH Well...... ;D
