Griswold windless ash tray...

Almost bought one today, but put it back...

Is it a legitimate Griswold piece.?

I know of two windproof Griswold Ashtrays a number 32 and a number  33.

They can be hard to find with the original top grate.

This one didn't have a top grate Jerry.  Sounds like I did right putting it back...

What makes a wind -proof ash tray wind proof? The depth of it to keep your cancer stick from blowing away? Or to keep the wind from burning it to the butt? Or both?     Ed      [smiley=smoking.gif]
