Erie #10 handled griddle
« on: July 01, 2004, 09:41:34 PM »
Will and I just got back from Duluth Superior and we picked up a Erie #10 handled griddle part #740.  We noticed that it wasn't listed in the dark blue book, just wondering if anyone else has one or has seen one?

Jenny :)

Jenny,
I see what you mean; p.50 blue book where only 6-9 Erie handle griddles are listed.  They made the 10 as you know.  I have one but pre-pattern number.  Blue book pattern number does list the No.10 940 pan.

Jenny, I had one of these a few years ago, and at the time, I asked Dave about it. He said he planned to add it to the book.
As a side note:  I put it on ebay back then, and it fetched $86.00.....hard telling with Ebay today though.

Thanks Jerry.  Then I guess Jenny and I didn't do to bad at $25.00

We also picked up a "Wards cast iron"  "Montgomery Wards" long griddle #1486    Looks to be of Wagner origin.  Is that number in any books?   I don't have my red book around.   It is not in the dark blue book.  I have to get better organized. ;D

Thanks,

Will P. [smiley=smoking.gif]

Will, it's not in the Red book.....the Wagner long griddles are in the 1100 range.
