Nickeled Santa
« on: August 11, 2004, 05:46:59 PM »
Jenny and I were at a flea market this weekend.   We saw a nickeled santa.   Common or not?   We didn't buy it,  although the price wasn't too bad.   But I know that nickeled stuff isn't worth as much.   It had about 90% of its nickel.   A little rusty on the inside.   Had a tongue and the right markings.  But didn't see the casting flaw on the bag.

Your opinion?

I'd like one, but IMO, they have to have all the outside nickel for it to be worth anything.  Not a common item
