"Wagner" without the Ware Round Kettle

I purchased a "Wagner", the name is stamped like that
in
quotation marks without the Ware, cast iron
pot with handle, Sidney -0-, 3.  Would you be able to give me some
info on
the piece
and if it is authentic with "Wagner" in quotation marks?

Thanks Lee Henry

Hi neighbor and welcome to the WAGS forum.
Pretty sure you have an older Wagner pot made about 1905 maybe?  I was going to say before 1915 which is when the WagnerWare logo with the large, common W came into being but it was before that that only a WAGNER in quotes was used.   The earliest Wagner pieces were marked only with WAGNER in quotes (maybe not always in quotes).  Later "SIDNEY" was added and then the "WARE" was added.  There is not necessarily any logical progression to Wagners' markings however.

Hard to date any closer than I told you.  Looks pretty good.  It's called a Yankee Bowl, not very common, and not a lot of demand.  Your starting price is fine.
