D/O Identification
« on: June 10, 2005, 04:10:58 PM »
Still trying to learn how to use this forum!!!  I posted my question on the guest site by mistake -- the photos were not attached either???

Again, I would like to know who made the D/O I was given?  It has no markings and is a #8 size.  I have attache two photos that I hope will make it thru this time.

Al,
Looks Lodge to me. Handle, ears, bend in bail all look Lodge. I don;t think I ever nailed down for sure if Lodge made these but that's my 85% sure guess. Is there any markings on the botton. Like a single letter by itself or maybe a DO?

Why am I only seeing a small section of this DO? Is that what everybody else sees?

Perry, use the 'bars' inside' the pix, as the pix is larger than 6x6.

Greg, thanks, I didn't see the bars. Kinda like can't see the forest for the trees. When you use the bars, man oh man, what a big dutch oven.

The hammer pattern doesn't match any hammered Lodge pieces I've seen. Lodge has a very fine pattern. This hammered pattern is closer to WW pattern. But I would say it's not WW either.
