Another diamond skillet,  almost

Well,  I picked this up today.   Did Favorite ever make anything like this?   Looks like it goes on top of another skillet.

Will, I have a skillet like that. I also have the lid with it. The lid is cut to where it fits into those places you are showing on your skillet.

Wow, you guys find all the neat pieces. i'm envious. These are the skillets I have been trying to connect with Favorite or Chicago Foundry. I have a small collection of the diamond marked skillets. Nice find.

Greg Stahl and I and others think/know that the diamond skillets were made by Favorite or one of the successor.   We need to find a catalog that has the diamond skillets in them. :-/

Will, one day I probably will. I have a camera and I need to get to using it. Right now I have my cast iron packed away. We talked about this one other time and I believe that we concluded this is a Favorite piece. There is a thread somewhere of this subject on the forum.
