NORTHS, HARRISON, & CHASE WI in use
« on: December 25, 2008, 01:49:41 PM »
Finally got a chance to use one of the WI's that I've collected.  :D It's actually the first one I bought. It's a Norths, Harrison, & Chase. Made in Philadelphia. Don't know much more about it, but it does maake great waffles. :)

Well done Chuck.  I don't think I've ever seen a waffle made in one of these irons.  Sure is pretty.

Wow Chuck, that is one nice looking picture of breakfast.  ;)Tell us now, who cooked that, you, or you're wife? I know she can find iron, BUT, can she find the kitchen stove? Don't tell her I said that.  ;D ;D ;D

I have never seen that design in a waffle before either. I'll bet that waffle iron has not been used it over 50 years till you just used it. What kind of burner did you use, gas, electric, flat top, coil? Just curious. We have had some lengthy discussions on here about what type of stove works best for what kind of waffle iron.

Perry,
Looks like an electric coil in the first pic.

Chuck,

Nice job on the waffle. I don't have a waffle iron to play with. :(
