Another Waffle Iron
« on: June 07, 2009, 08:26:43 AM »
Didn't have this one and not in the best of shape right now. Looks like it was painted (I Think). I like the different type of hinge.

I got to get these things cleaned up. I have some unique ones I want to get to.

Right now I am in the process of filling a bigger lye bath. The 2/3 of a plastic 55 gallon drum I used as my electro last year and building a new larger electro.

Heres a few pictures of the new Iron I got....

That is the acorn hinge.   Really a pretty hinge.   Not very common.

Wow Jesse, I just picked one up last week. Yours looks to be in a bit better shape than this one I have but I thought that maybe I could clean it up and make it look better. The person I bought it from said that it wasn't worth that much seeing it wasn't a Griswold piece. It was very carboned up and didn't have the handles. So I just gave him the 5 dollars he was asking for it and walked away with it.
