Susan I would venture a guess that the piece was made shortly after Wagner bought Sidney Hollow Ware.  The Blue Book lists the circa for the bottom marked Wagner piece at 1924-1940.  That would mean that you piece would have been produced sometime between 1897-1924.  This is just a rough estimate and an assumption based on the Wagner acquisition of Sidney.

I will be the first to say that WAGS does have a museum and it is in my living room!!   ;D ;D ;D

I am just kidding of course.

Maybe you all should do what my Adirondack historical assoc. did - hijack a room or 2 in someone else's museum. We have a permanent display there, it generates interest and new members, but don't have to deal with the messy business of running our own. Maybe an agricultural, tool, living history, or other related museum? Just an idea anyways.
