Better uses for pans with slight convex bottoms?
« on: November 04, 2013, 02:25:52 AM »
At least I think the word is convex, as in the opposite of a spinner pan.

I've got a Gris small logo and a newer Lodge that are slightly like this. Shame, I bought that Gris to fry eggs in, but the grease runs to the sides.

Anyway, both work great for frying stuff that needs deep oil, oven roasting chicken breasts, and canned biscutes. Some other uses?

Cornbread, and any other recipes that can be baked in the OVEN! :)
I've used skillets on the gas grill also...
