Dutch Oven Lids
« on: January 13, 2014, 11:00:09 PM »
I have 3 orphan Griswold DO lids I started to clean getting ready to sell.  A 7, 9, and 10. I noticed the 9 has the patent date info on the inside in raised letters, the others have all the inside info in recessed letters. Is this common with the 9's?  Maybe an earlier version? Just wondering.

Not sure, but I might be interested in the #7 depending on the price.  I was just gifted a Griswold #7 Flat Bottom Kettle for Christmas and need a lid for it.  I think the chances of my running into an actual Flat Bottom Kettle lid are pretty low.

Here are some pictures of the lids,  I hope. The 10 has flattened handle, the 9 has a round handle.  Block logo, tite top Dutch oven.
