Something I Never Do
« on: January 27, 2014, 08:24:40 PM »
Bought a skillet at the Goodwill today.  I think I may have 5 total now.  Thankfully something I don't collect.  It was $7.00 so I had to take it just for fun.  Likely give it away after it is clean.  Maybe sell it on eBay - what would it be worth? ;D

There is a 10 on the handle but I can't read anything else under the crud.  It seems flat, no heat ring.  Maybe an ummarked Wagner?  I really don't know.  Will a name or number appear?  I don't know but will soon, it's heading for the lye bucket.

Boy, the wear on the bottom make me think it should be a spinner. Maybe it is when it heats up.

Might be Gary, the flash really makes it look worse than it is.  I stuck the best straightedge inside when I was there and it looked OK, but I'll really only know when it cleans up.
