"ERIE" Griddle
« on: January 29, 2014, 02:51:43 PM »
Found a nice "ERIE" #8 Handled Griddle this weekend.

Spent $20.00.  Looks to be in excellent condition.

Has "ERIE" 738 and 8 on the bottom.

What looks like a chip inside the handle opening is actually just a gap in some over-run from the pour that wasn't ground off at the factory.

Used the flash on the first picture.  Too much reflection.

Very nice-I can smell the blueberry pancakes calling.......
The good chefs never burn anything--we call it "culinary brown"!!

  • I don't collect waffle irons; they just show up.

Looks nicer than the ones I've seen.  Whenever I do stumble across an ERIE griddle with a p/n on it, the bottom is usually pitted like mad.  I have yet to acquire one in any size, myself.
