Erie #11 Series ID
« on: February 07, 2014, 08:57:16 PM »
Hi David,
I have a #11 Erie with a letter b near the #11. It's got the outside heat ring. I'm actually new to cast iron. I don't collect them I just like to use and love the looks of them. I'm not sure if it's a second series or not.  Maybe you can help me identify it and if it is I might be up for a trade.

Welcome to WAGS.
If you can post up a picture of your ERIE #11, it would be very helpful.
If you need help with posting pictures, just send me a PM and I will be happy to help you out!

Timothy, nice effort for your first time posting pictures!

That looks like a nice Second Series ERIE  #11.

When learning about the different Series ERIE's, this ERIE Skillet article by member Roy Meadow's, is an important resource.
