Wagner #9 with non cursive
« on: February 18, 2014, 08:24:32 PM »
I just thought I'd put this one up because of the cool looking handle.  At least I think it's pretty cool.  I can read "WAGNER" at 12 o'clock and "9" at 6 o'clock on the bottom, that's it.

This has the same block letters that someone said my dutch oven had.  They said that dutch over was probably pre-1924.  Does that mean this skillet is also pre-1924?

Hard to tell from the photo. Is there Sidney O. under the Wagner?

Not that I can see.  All I can see is the Wagner and the 9 and maybe a letter on the bottom of the handle...a "T" maybe I think

I'll venture a guess, kinda hard to tell we it still being dirty, but probably from the teens. Nice skillet

After cleaning I can see only the Wagner and the 9, the center portion on the bottom is rough with no letters legible.  Will post photo when it's all pretty.

Here it is cleaned and seasoned.  You can see what I mean about the center of the bottom.  No lettering is visible.
