Any information on this one?
« on: June 26, 2015, 01:03:21 PM »
I picked this chicken fryer up the other day. It is a Krone Kast about a size #7. It has what looks like a Wagner lid on it. I am not sure about the lid since I have never seen a Krone Kast lid. Any help?

Hey Rick, I did a little searching, and it was mentioned KroneKast was made in Germany. Bernard & Anna Krone started out as a blacksmith shop in 1906. They also had ovens, stoves, agricultural hardware. Did see a picture of a double skillet with the same marking. In 1924 he bequeathed his business to his son, also named Bernard. Not sure if this is 100% correct, but it was all I could find. FWIW
