I was on the estate sale site and saw a few pieces of CI, one had this lid on top. It caught my attention and I drove over only to find a stack of average Wagner (most newer) and Lodge, and a DO of questionable origin (it had a faint "made in USA", but I have doubts) with this Griswold type lid on it.
I was very surprised to see "Taiwan" inside... It was good quality, for a few $ I would've bought it just to have a sample of this Taiwan made "Griswold" ;). It was with the DO (didn't want that), so I left the set for someone to get some good use out of.
