Long Life skillet, just a cheaper Wagner?

Yep,  Long Life is an economy line of skillets by Wagner.   May have been sold by Sears?

I may be mistaken but I thought that Griswold off-brands were sold in Sears (Best Made, etc), and that Montgomery Ward carried the WagnerWare off-brands.

Hi Roger, my thought too but there was a lengthy article on the members' only side that discussed some time lines based on old Sears and Wards catalogs that shows crossover.  The Puritan line of Sears was made by a couple different foundries over the years, Wagner did the Wards Way and Wards Cast for Wards but it looked like some of their other unmarked items went to Sears.  Chicago Hardware Foundry is also believed to have made pieces for Sears.

I wanted to revive this thread otascos stores which was regional chain started in 1918 closing in late 1980s they held the trademark for long life on many of there products could this be where skillets was sold
