“Due to the restrictions in place for the COVID-19 situation, the WAGS Board has elected to defer signing a contract at this time for the annual convention. Everything is in place with the hotel and our hope is that being in October, things will have sorted out and settled down by then. While erring on the side of caution, the feeling was that if we can meet we should because even a smaller group would be better than foregoing it if possible.
We are in contact with the property in Hot Springs and will revisit the situation in early May. If we choose to move forward, the dates would remain the same-October 8-10. Thanks everyone for your patience, I know many of you have way more pressing things to be dealing with currently. GLS - remember that you must be a dues paying WAGS member to attend the conventions and a member for at least six months to vote on any issues at the annual meeting as well.
