Antiques Roadshow Insider - PDF available
« on: December 23, 2009, 09:52:58 AM »
WAGS members,

I did an interview for this well known publication (20,000 subscribers).  The article (January 2010 issue) is a front page news story on Cast iron cookware collecting and covers four pages (all articles are limited to two, but the Editor believed it was too important to cut to two pages!!).

I have permission to make a PDF of the article and will post it for all the WAGS members when I get discharged from the hospital.  It arrived late yesterday or I would have posted it today.  So I hope to have it posted by Christmas.

Wow, that sounds good Greg. I can't wait to read it. Looks like this cast iron stuff is getting a little publicity here with this article, a nice bump I'd say.  ;)

As promised, here is the PDF.  This is a Courtesy of Antiques Roadshow Insider.

I would like to thank Larry Canale, Editor of Antiques Roadshow Insider for allowing me to make a PDF of the article and sharing it with the members of WAGS and all visitors of my website.

Let me know if you can't open it, as I put some security on it and it may be too strong.  If so, I'll redo it.

A very good read. I'm hoping this brings some more members to WAGS. I know I tell alot of people who buy from me, and have questions about CI, to stop in, register, and check out the site. I know some of them have joined, and others have just visited.

Greg, is that the Griswold Toy Set that you recently aquired? That is a real nice one.

I still can't find it. I've read about duck decoys, sheet music, hood ornaments, Ted Williams golf clubs, a bad appraisal on a vase, how to sell your stuff from an estate, also Betty Crocker, and still going but no WAGS, cast iron, or Greg.

That is the box and two of the items that were in it.  The toys are brand new and unused.

Perry,
Now go back and look again at Greg's post. Reply #5.
He posted this same link plus a link to their web site. You were just clicking on the wrong link.
I figgered if I posted just the one link, that would improve the odds of you clicking on the right one. ;)

No Greg, I was not pulling anybodys leg. I could not find it.  :(

And I was checking in and out during the day, so that I could read it when you posted it, and then when you said you posted, of course I wanted to read it, and then, NO CAN READ.

Hey Chris, thanks for eliminating the game of chance and improving my odds.  ;D

I liked the article, there were a couple things in it that were not right, or I didn't think they were right anyway. But they did not detract from the quality of the article though.
