Let's give Michael Corso a BIG WELCOME to our WAGS family.  Michael calls Oradell, NJ home.  Let's make him feel right at home here at WAGS also.  Michael, I know you have been chompin' at the bit to join us on the "Dark Side".  Sorry about the slight Holiday delay.  Have a good look around and let us know what you think.  There's enough reading material to here to keep you busy for quite a while.  Let us know what all you are interested in collecting.  ENJOY!!!!

WELCOME Again,   :icon_bananas:  :welcome:   :icon_bananas:

Hi Everyone! Thanks so much for the warm welcome. The wait was not long and I am sure will be worth it.

I assume, like many, I began by enjoying  the rush of finding some cast iron. While that is still present, my passion for old iron and accompanying information has grown exponentially. I attribute this to some of you I have already “met” and interacted with online.

My father told me that his father had a full set of railroad iron. When I showed him a picture of my first Erie, he said that was what he meant. Thus, my affinity - and growing collection - for early Erie/Griswold. In addition, I started to really like the older iron. I love anything with a gate mark and a foundry. I’ve found a few here in the Northeast and my buy and sell allows me to pursue both these collections (my family is from Jersey City so my love for Savery’s Sons is strong). My life is largely dominated by two tiny humans (3 year old twins), but my understanding bet r half supports my habit :)

Thanks again for the welcome, I am excited to share but more excited to learn from all of you!
