As you can see in this Winter catalog page from 1963/1964, Wagner found a market for some of its own cast ironware, as well as for some that was acquired during the purchase of Griswold. I would be speculating to say that the Griswold items were old stock from Erie. They could very well have been the “unmarked” Wagner pieces made from re-worked Griswold patterns. Pieces like these shown in the ad ran through catalogs of the 1960's and into the 1970's.
